Freestyle State Strength in Numbers- Hobbs Takes 3rd

The Suburban Sprawl Wrestling Club took 41 wrestlers down to compete at the 2012 IL Freestyle State tournament this past weekend in Champaign, IL.  22 of those wrestlers are current or future DGS wrestlers.  The club number was the fourth most of any club, and the 22 wrestlers from South was the 2nd most in the entire state as far as participants from one school.  It was a great experience for the kids as the IL State Freestyle Tournament has become one of the toughest in the nation.  IL has dominated on the national level in recent years, so the competition to reach Cadet/Junior Nationals out of the Freestyle State Tournament has been fierce.  Enclosed is a list of participants:
