Blue on Blue Scrimmage

This past Saturday the DGS Mustang Wrestling program held their Blue on Blue scrimmage.  This was a change in format from previous years as the Saturday format allowed wrestlers to get in multiple matches on the day.  While this was the first step in determining some of the initial line-ups for the upcoming weeks, it was more of a chance for the wrestlers to compete in a match like atmosphere.  Wrestlers got anywhere from 2-4 matches in on the day, which is about the amount they would get in a standard tournament format.  The wrestling parents meeting was also held in the student cafe after the scrimmage. 

The Mustangs open up against crosstown rival Downers Grove North this Wednesday, November 21st.  JV and JVII start at 6:00 PM and Varsity and Freshmen start around 7:00 PM.  We hope to see everyone there and hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving with their families.
