Hobbs Competes on Team IL at National Duals

The dream off-season keeps gathering momentum for Sophomore HWT Michael Hobbs.  Michael was selected to compete at HWT for Team IL in the Cadet National Freestyle Duals in Daytona Beach, FL on June 15-16.  This is a tremendous honor for Michael which enabled him to compete against some of the best HWT's in the nation in this team tournament.  Team IL put on a stellar performance and ended taking 2nd as a team to PA in a very tight dual.  Throughout the course of the tournament, Michael went 5-2 against some of the nation's best and won a key dual for team IL against MI to get them to the finals.  It was a very simple scenario, If "Big Mike" as he was called won, team IL would win.  Big Mike came through and put Team IL in the finals.  It was a great experience for Michael as he continues to have a stellar 2012 off-season.  Michael is currently preparing for the Asics Cadet Greco and Freestyle National Tournament to be held in Fargo, SD in July.
