The Mustang Wrestlers took a break from their Olympic lifts this past Wednesday to conquer the Four Lakes Ski Hill in Lisle, IL. The weather was perfect for running hills as the rain started to come down as soon as we got off the mini-bus. I think most wrestlers would have agreed while it may have been more fun to ski down the slope, running up it was much more rewarding.
The pre-season is in full swing as we begin our second week of open mats on Tuesday and Thursday after school, and we are continuing to lift Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The season is just around the corner as practice begins on Monday, November 5th with the first meet against rival Downers Grove North on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
